Research for Undergraduate Students

Math makes our society more sustainable because it increases efficiency and solves challenges in computing, technology, biology, transportation, and communications. Mathematics is, indeed, transforming these fields.

For students wanting to continue in academia and pursue graduate work (either to pursue a Masters or Ph.D.), they are highly suggested to do some undergraduate research. Research is often described as learning in-depth.

For student wanting to pursue a career in industry and work often in the private sector, it is highly advised that they get involved in interships. Interships are described as giving a breadth in learning.
