Wireless Sensor Networks
We have performed extensive
research on wireless sensor networks, including:
- The Mantis
multi-threaded operating system for mote-based
wireless sensor networks
- FireWxNet -
a WSN application deployed in the mountains of
Montana to measure weather effects surrounding
forest fires, in collaboration with the
University of Montana at Missoula
- X-MAC - a
duty-cycled MAC protocol for energy-efficient
communication in WSNs
- Secure
routing, communication, and code distribution in
WSNs
- WildSense:
a delay-tolerant network (DTN) of sensors
deployed on wild deer
