CSCI 7818 features four major assessment categories: class participation, weekly reading assignments, a 2 page conference submission, and a Semester project.

The textbook for the course is "From Web to Workplace: Designing Open Hypermedia Systems", by Kaj Grøbæk and Randall H. Trigg. The book is published by MIT Press.
