• Watched the “birth” of the Web occur while sitting across from Roy Fielding and Jim Whitehead at UCI

• Send links for the links page (volunteer to discuss what you've found!)
• Locate speakers from industry to come speak about a topic related to the seminar
  • Find someone from IBM or Microsoft or Sun to come and talk about what they are doing in the WS-* space
  • Find someone from a Web 2.0 startup to come discuss their business model, how they use AJAX, etc.
• Present counter arguments for material covered in the arguments
• Summarize seminar-relevant discussions that are occurring in the blogosphere

First Few Weeks

• Will cover chapters 1—6 to make sure that we are all on the same page.
• We will tackle chapter 1 on Thursday
