REU Site in Cybersecurity

An REU site in cybersecurity at CU-Boulder has been established with a grant from the National Science Foundation. The main goal of this site is to provide appropriate and valuable educational experience for undergraduate students through research participation. The REU site will provide several professional activities related to cybersecurity to the undergraduate student participants. Up to ten undergraduate students are invited to participate in this site for a period of ten weeks during summer.

The REU site will provide several professional activities related to cybersecurity to the undergraduate student participants. These include

  • Participation in a cutting-edge cybersecurity-related research project.
  • A regular seminar series featuring cybersecurity talks from faculty, graduate students, and visitors.
  • A project demo event.
  • Formal mentoring sessions.
  • Social activities.
