by Monday, December 10th at noon

The Social Committee will be throwing the End of Semester Party again this year. The CS Department party will be held on Thursday, December 13th starting at 4:00pm. This is during the normal colloquium time slot on the last day of classes. We'll be in "The Clubhouse". (If you don't know where that is, contact Soraya Ghiasi for directions.) The party is open to CS grad students, faculty, and staff. Feel free to bring spouses, significant others and children, preferably your own.

We're supplying the food and drink. We're serving Afghan food (from Shish Kabob Supreme and our kitchen). There will be a variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food available. Drinks and assorted munchies will also be provided. Let us know if you have drink preferences.

Please let us know if you plan to attend (and let us know how many people you plan to bring) so that we can buy and cook the appropriate amount of food for the dishes we are making. Also, let us know if you have dietary restrictions or food allergies so that we can avoid poisoning off members of the department.

If you are available to help set up, please let us know. We'll be meeting at the clubhouse at about 3:00pm to get everything in place.

on behalf of the Social Committee
(James Garnett, Martin Hirzel, Michael Neufeld, Michael Colagrosso, Nathan Ryan, Rogério de Paula, and Soraya Ghiasi)
