L3D Hosts Computer Support for Collaborative Learning 2002

December 2001

We are writing to extend you a special invitation to attend Computer Support for for Collaborative Learning 2002, January 7-11 at the Omni Interlocken Resort in Broomfield, CO. We want to urge you to take advantage of this opportunity to enrich your understanding of technology in education and share your experiences.

If you're not already familiar with CSCL, it is the premier international conference exploring computer and Internet technology to support collaborative forms of learning and teaching. The conference attracts a variety of participants including educational researchers, technologists, policy makers, eLearning entrepreneurs, and in-service teachers. The theme this year focuses on strengthening the foundations for the field of CSCL: theory, technology, evaluation, and community building.

We received hundred of excellent CSCL submissions this year. Fifty of the best papers will be presented at the meeting, and 93 of the best short papers will be shown as posters. There will also be workshops, tutorials, and ongoing "interactive experiences." Attend one day or all five, but sign up now, since advanced registration ends December 26!

We hope to see you at the conference!
